Minor Project Stuff

Bit busy, getting both my Minor project done (bit last minute on my part), and of course still working on the Fords.

Here's the renders for the Minor project, an Autonomous vehicle, capable of traversing some of the most difficult terrain. Not totally keen on the design, but im happy with the Photoshop work.

Still just sketching out Fords, trying to come up with I design a like. Thought i'd do a bit of Photoshop practice, since i havent touched it in months.

Here's one without the questionable front bonnet wing. I like the idea, but the execution needs some work!

Just toying with a few ideas... Red one at the bottom was part of an assignment, the rest are building upon that first design.

Land Rovers, lots of them

Here's my visuals from the Land Rover project. For the most part it was a very open brief, becoming more and more focused at each stage. Being a group project, we were all assigned a different role, mine being exterior designer.

The images are in chronological order, so the first image is a selection of initial proposals, and it ends with the final renders.

Overall, the whole project lasted from about February to May 2014.

Here are couple photos of the 1/4 Scale clay model, credit goes to Tom Plester for the photos, and of course the group who made the model itself, along with the 3D cad model and renders. interior sketches/renders, and the whole presentation board.

My contribution was only the vehicle exterior design, and all the sketches and renders.

Solar Bear

Yes, i realise its been almost a year since the last post, in which i did state i would try and keep this updated; clearly not trying hard enough.

Anyway, i thought i'd just show off a few of the things i've been upto since then.

First up, the Solar Bear Concept, a vehicle designed for reaching the South Pole in record time. As you can see, both the brief and my interpretation changed drastically over the course of the project.

These were done around December 2013 if i remember correctly.

First Post...

Pretty new to this sort of thing, so don't expect anything too fancy. I will try to keep this updated with my latest work, but feel free to check out older stuff here.

Lets start with a small project for uni i just finished. The brief was to come up with an appealing aesthetic for 'Project Enduro' which you can check out here.

We were to provide design development visuals and refined design visuals to improve the existing design prototype, and to support promotion of the project.
